In the limits of the prefecture of Pieria and Larissa and the northernmost point of the delta of Penaeus is the settlement of Neoi Poroi with a sandy beach beyond maybe 5 miles. About 45 km south of Katerini, just before entering the straits of Tempi, will find the exit to the new resources. The village is characterized by its layout in a rapid residential development in recent years. There is plenty of parking at peak times but even this is not enough to cover the demand for places. The beach, because of its length has points in an organized, either from the village shops or from beach bars and cafes, but also points calmer.
