ΛAIMOS BEACH

At about 4 km south of Toroni there is Porto Koufo. Continue the road towards Kalamitsi and just before the 2^nd km on your right there is a dirt road which passes behind a small pond. Next after passing Marathias, you need to climb up the mountain in order to get on the other side behind it. It is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY a 4x4 otherwise you will risk to stay without any help in the middle of nowhere. The spectacle and the two wonderful beaches, 200 meters each, compensate you for any discomfort on this isolated part of Sithonia. There is not any trace of organization at any level and for this reason it attracts only those who like adventure and risk. It is also recommended access by boat when this is possible.
