On the south side of Thassos is the beach  Astrida, seaport town of the same name village. A sandy beach 250 meters with a steep slope to the bottom. Ideal for water sports but not for families with children. He has organized and beautiful taverns for food. It took its name from the rich starry sky facing the locals during the olive harvest.
