POSSIDI  beach

103 km south of Thessaloniki and the western side of the Kassandra peninsula lies the beach Posseidiou. This is a very special beach whose overall length exceeds 2 km. In fact it is a huge sandy peninsula which can be accessed only by 4x4,otherwise you need to leave the car at the beginning and continueon foot. A lighthouse at the base of the peninsula helps vessels toavoid. The difficult access along the peninsula and difficult to organize. Only in the northernmost edge of a beach bar a studentfrom the nearby student camp. The fact that the peninsulapenetrates deep into the sea of ​​Thermaikos allows the bluewaters that surround it is too clean. It's a good experience to ridealong the peninsula and is highly recommended.
