Gramvoussa beach, Chania

At the northwestern tip of Chania is the Gramvousa peninsula, elongated, rugged and uninhabited but of exceptional beauty. On the northwest side of the peninsula is the tame Gramvousa, an islet with its castle at its highest point, an eternal guardian of the Mediterranean. The beach of the islet is suitable for a swim as the boats that start from Kissamos, usually make a stop.
